DISCUSSION: Presentation By BFCU “Money Concepts”


SPOUSES DAY PICNIC

DISCUSSION EPBP Spouses Day Picnic is set for Sunday, April 19 from 12-3 at the Maverick County Lake Pavilion.

CONCLUSIONS The committee decided that it will be a potluck menu. Welfare and Rec would donate plates and a donation of $100. We are needing help of clean up and set up.


LOCATION OF MONTHLY MEETINGS

DISCUSSION Location of monthly meetings has been at one member’s home for several meetings.

CONCLUSIONS Members would like to opportunity to host meetings. We did have members volunteer.

Our next meeting will be at Natalie E’s home May 5rd , our June 9th meeting will be at Ashley’ D’s and our July 7th will be at Lydia S’s home.

If someone would like to volunteer their home please let Celinda L know in order to mark the calendar and send out the invitation to the meeting we also discussed about have meeting at a neutral area, we decided we can switch from month to month.


LOCAL EVENTS & MISC

Jennifer R talked about events going on such as Earth Fest on May 23rd at Arroyo Park starting at noon. A volunteer sheet was passed around, contact Jen for more information.

“Houses for Rent” will be posted on the blogspot. If anyone has information on rental available please contact Jen with the information.


ELECTIONS

DISCUSSION Ballots were passed out to members. We had two new members pay their dues and had four members renew their dues so all were able to participate in elections. We had four votes by proxy.

CONCLUSIONS Anilu MG and Katie B picked up ballots and tallied up all votes.

The results are President-Natalie E, Vice President-Jennifer R, Secretary-Celinda L, Treasurer-Carina R, Public Relations Officer-Ashlie D. CONGRATULATIONS!!!


Special notes

EASTER GOODIES!!! Natalie E passed around a sign-up sheet for donating goodies to both stations.

Maybe cookies, cupcakes, treats, etc. Natalie E will be collecting items on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will be responsible for distribution on Easter Sunday.
