We went over the minutes from prior meeting.

AGENDA TOPICS

VALENTINE’S DAY: The Valentine treats provided to the agents on Valentine’s Day was a complete success. Rose C. was unable to deliver treats, so Melissa and her spouse Juan delivered the treats.“We were able to deliver a lot of different treats and the agents were really grateful” We received special thanks from Mr. A. from the North Station. Mr. B. from the South Station also extended his appreciation to our gesture for the agents.

TREASURER’S REPORT: The treasurer Carina R gave the monthly account balance report: $91.13 Gave opportunity to current members and new members to pay membership for ½ year or full year.

BY-LAW REVISION: The committee that handled accepting the proposed by laws were all present: Claudia, Jen, Anilu, Celinda. We handed out copies of the proposal to all paid members and reviewed each proposal and gave attendees time to vote. At the end of the voting we voted on having a committee collect the sheets and count the votes, it was decided that the same committee collect the votes and count. Anilu G. presented the results to the attendees.

ACTION ITEMS: Revision of By Laws voted and new By Laws will be emailed. Jen R. who was on the By law committee worked on putting together the new by laws and emailed them out. There is currently a copy on the blogspot.


VOTING OF NEW OFFICERS

Discussion: As per the new By Laws all members will be added to the ballot in order to have an opportunity to hold an officer position. A committee was formed and these individuals will be responsible for putting together the ballot, distributing it at our next meeting as well as collecting the ballots to count votes. If members do not wish to be put on the list please notify our committee members of your decision not to be included on the list.

Conclusions: Voting will take place at our next scheduled meeting on April 7th


EPBP Spouses Day

Discussion: April 19th was proclaimed as “EPBP Spouses Day” by The City of Eagle Pass and our Mayor. A celebration will take place on that date.

Conclusions: A committee was formed and they will be responsible for putting together the event. They will meet on Thursday 19th @ 7pm
