The Eagle Pass Border Patrol Spouses Book Club FAQ’s

What is the EPBPS Book Club?
We are a group of people who enjoy reading. Each member of the Book Club reads the same book each month. We then get together to discuss our thoughts and feelings on the book, and how they relate to situations and issues presented in the book. It’s a fun afternoon filled with good food, good conversation with good friends.

When does the EPBPS Book Club meet?
We meet on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 3pm.

Does it cost money to be a member of the EPBPS Book Club?
  • It will cost $10 per month to cover the cost of the book.
  • You have the option of sharing a book with another member in which case you will pay $5 per month.
  • You may also obtain your own book at your own expense.

Who can join the EPBPS Book Club?
Anyone affiliated with the Border Patrol Family.

Who chooses the books that are discussed each month?
Each member of the Book Club will have the opportunity to choose a book and lead the discussion for that book.

Where does the EPBPS Book Club meet?
The host of the Book Club will be whichever member is leading the discussion that month. It will be their choice to have the meeting at their home or at a restaurant.

Will there be food served at the Book Club?
Yes, the host will provide their choice of refreshments. Other members are welcome to bring along a dish or drinks if they like.
