BOWLING NIGHT We had about 14 people plus children attend our first Social Bowling Night. The group agreed that Bowling Night would be a great regular monthly event.
WELCOME COMMITTEE EPBPS does have a Welcome Committee, the goal of the WC is to meet new families and welcome them in person with a gift basket or a dinner. Unfortunately, contact information, and knowing when new families are moving into town, has been hard to come by. If you know of a new BP family moving into Eagle Pass, please pass the information along to the WC. If you have ideas or would like to be apart of the WC, please join in.
NEW BUSINESS

Members voted and 6 out of 6 agreed to purchase a plaque to present to him before he leaves.
SOCIAL NIGHT The group would enjoy another Social Night, and think they should be a monthly event.

Valerie and her husband received a welcoming gift from Celinda L. when they moved to Eagle Pass. Her and her family were very appreciative for the welcoming gift.
Guest Speakers We had 2 Eagle Pass Border Patrol Spouses Member Alumni speak of their experiences and the importance of a solid support group. These women were brought to Eagle Pass 20+ years ago due to their husband’s jobs with the Border Patrol. Their main message was; even if EP will not be your home forever, it is your home now. Make the most of your situation, be positive and get involved.
