Eagle Pass Border Patrol Spouses

EPBP SPOUSES

2008

The Eagle Pass Border Patrol Spouses have come together as a group of spouses who have one very important thing in common. We are all married to a Border Patrol Agent. We began to meet and reorganized on February 1st of 2008 and have become a group to serve not only our families but to serve our community. With the support of our Patrol Agents in Charge, Mr. Kevin Brashear and Mr. Cesar Cantu, Mr. Doyle Amidon. Our Del Rio Sector Chief, and Mr. Castillo, supporting staff and most importantly our spouses, we have accomplished many of our goals. They have allowed us to participate and be a part of their stations. Without their support, we would not be able to do all we do for our families and our communities.
.
We all know too well what it feels like to be moved to a new station or a new town. We know how it feels to not know anyone and drive around trying to find the nice neighborhoods and good schools. While our spouses begin their new adventures at their new career, we find ourselves unpacking alone and trying to get our children enrolled in school by ourselves. The spouses of Eagle Pass want to make this transition smoother by providing support and resources to Border Patrol Agents and their families.

Eagle Pass is a growing community with a small town feeling. There are many things to offer such as community events, school events, and family functions. Our organization will provide you with information and resources regarding community activities and events. We hold events for the Agents and their families, such as picnics, barbeques, and social events.

We assist our community with fundraisers such as The Relay for life and The American Red Cross. We have established a fund raiser for a Scholarship Fund for one of our local students to be issued once a year. We participate in local activities such as Paint the Town and we work with the Border Patrol Explorers. Most importantly, we provide support for each other.

We understand that many families are approaching a big change. For many of us, we are here without family and it can be hard. The Eagle Pass Border Patrol Spouses wants you to know that we are here to help in any way that we can. We are all part of the same family – The Border Patrol Family.

We welcome you to our family, we welcome you to our community and we welcome you to Eagle Pass, Texas.
